September Update
Labor Day has finally come! This brings down time and a renewed sense of spirit for Brad and Steve to finish writing and begin recording. The guys have put together some new material and have included a couple of oldies that were never really full LouAlbino songs. Some new titles are: Chinese Finger Trap, Dis-Assembly Required, Forgotten Scrolls, Bionic Overload and Funeral for Lou. A couple oldies the guys used to play acoustic a lot in the 90s are resurfacing: Rivers Cuomo, Split Side and Milemarker 99. Taste buds tingling????
In other news, Steve's other band GRIT SCRIMMAGE has been put on hold for several months. Steve and the other guys are trying out some new angles. You can expect help from the rest of GritScrimmage on the new Cab Ass.n recording. GRIT Drummer Bryan and Bassist Jason have both offerred to fill in behind the sticks for a couple of songs each. GRIT guitarist/singer Pat has offered to assist with the recording and mastering process, as well as put some additional tracks down (bass, drums and backup vocals) on a few of the new tunes.
Brad is beginning to wrap up the season at the Bethany Surf Shop and has proudly been wearing his new CAB ASSASSIN t-shirts while preparing for the coming months.
